Sarah Ward, LICSW
Staff Therapist

Sarah Ward has been a licensed Social Worker since 2013. She received her Bachelor’s from Huntingdon College and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Alabama. Sarah Is a Licensed Certified Social Worker by the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners. Sarah previously worked as an Adoption Specialist and as a Social Worker for Montgomery Public Schools. Sarah’s primary clinical interest is with children, adolescents and families.

Jason Watson, LPC
Staff Therapist

Jason Watson is a licensed professional counselor. Jason obtained his bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Education from Auburn University Montgomery. His areas of interests Include adults, teens, couples, and groups. His background includes working with addictions, PTO, trauma, and individuals with wide range of psychological issues. His trainings include EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Lisa Elliott, MA, LPC-S, NCC

Lisa joined RRP in 2016 and is an Adjunct Professor of Play Therapy at Auburn University Montgomery. Ms. Elliott is a 2003 graduate of The University of Alabama with a Master’s degree in Community Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy. Currently Ms. Elliott is a doctoral candidate at Walden University completing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision with a specialization in Crisis and Trauma. Ms. Elliott has fourteen years of experience serving families in the River Region as a counselor and has received recognition for her work responding to natural disasters, school shootings, and her work with military and first responder populations.

R. Sheree Bodiford, Ph.D
Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Bodiford joined the River Region Psychiatry clinical team in April 2016. She received her Ph.D. in Combined Integrated Clinical and Counseling Psychology from The University of South Alabama in 2014. She received her license as a Clinical Psychologist in the State of Alabama in 2016. After completing her Ph.D., she returned to her hometown of Montgomery, Alabama to continue her career working with children and adolescents. She specializes in the clinical treatment and assessment of children and adolescents with internalizing (i.e. anxiety and depression) externalizing (i.e. behavioral disorders), and neurodevelopmental disorders (i.e. autism and developmental disorders).

Jody Holley, LPC
Staff Therapist

Jody Holley, Licensed Professional Counselor, has worked in the field of counseling for over 22 years. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Auburn University Montgomery and received counseling credentials from Troy State University in Montgomery.

Jody has over twenty years experience gained from working in public schools, private practice and inpatient services. She is experienced in individual and group therapy in educational, inpatient, and outpatient settings. She currently specializes in adolescent, adult and family therapy for a wide range of psychological issues.

Jody enjoys teaching, encouraging and supporting clients as they encounter difficult situations or deal with chronic mental health issues. Her specific areas of interest include depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and adjustment to transitions and loss.

Libby Fitzpatrick, ALC
Associate Licensed Counselor

Libby Fitzpatrick is an Associate Licensed Counselor, under the supervision of Martha B. Ellis, LPC. Libby completed her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Auburn University in 1997 and her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amridge University in 2014. Libby’s areas of interest include working with individuals of all ages experiencing trauma, grief, anxiety, depression and adjustment issues. Libby else enjoys working with couples using the Gottman Method and Imago Relationship Therapy.

Jennings Haynes, Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Haynes completed his undergraduate degree at Huntingdon College. He received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky. He completed his pre-doctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He specializes in working with adolescents and adults. He has experience treating a range of psychological problems including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, loss, and self-destructive behavior. He believes in the development of insight that extends beyond symptom relief.He is also experienced in the evaluation of children, adolescents, and adults for educational and diagnostic purposes. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys golf, woodworking, and watching the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

Dr. Anil Saini
Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

Dr. Saini is a Board Certified Psychiatrist who specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. He completed a Residency in Adult Psychiatry and two Fellowships in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and schizophrenia at the Medical College of Georgia.

Dr. Saini joined River Region Psychiatry (RRP) in September 2011 as a staff psychiatrist for the treatment of children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses in the River Region and surrounding communities.

Dr. Saini uses his extensive knowledge of a wide variety of child and adolescent psychiatric conditions to determine the best personalized approach to each patient’s specific needs.

Dr. Ramakanth Vemuluri
Adult and Geriatric Psychiatrist

Dr. Ramakanth Vemuluri (Dr.Ram) has been in Montgomery since 2011. After graduating from medical school in India he moved to Scotland where he completed his training in psychiatry. He obtained Membership in the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London and moved to London where he worked as a consultant doing research before moving to America. He completed a psychiatry residency through the joint program of Creighton University and University of Nebraska. He has been practicing in the field of psychiatry since 2000. Dr. Ram is Board Certified in Psychiatry and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Ram devotes most of his time to his outpatient practice. However, he also provides consultation to patients on medical and surgical floors; performs second opinion evaluations, sees patients in community psychiatry (group homes and nursing homes) and practices inpatient psychiatry as time permits. Dr. Ram treats and manages depression, anxiety, panic, attention problems, sleep issues, PTSD, OCD, anger issues, psychotic disorders, personality problems, dementia and other psychiatric disorders. Dr. Ram specializes in treating people with substance use disorders (addiction). The majority of his patient population includes adult and geriatric age groups.

Dr.Ram specializes in psychopharmacology and enjoys providing eclectic and integrated psychotherapeutic interventions during his sessions. He strongly believes in mental wellbeing of individuals. He strives hard to achieve this by working collaboratively with his patients, their families and other providers involved in the care of his patients. Outside of his work, he likes to read philosophy and watch movies. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
